Mastermind Foundations: Pre-Algebra Prep
Pre-Algebra Prep is a focused, four-week virtual summer enrichment program designed specifically for New Jersey students entering 6th or 7th grade who will be taking Pre-Algebra in the fall. Unlike traditional drill-based tutoring programs, Mastermind Mathematics prioritizes conceptual understanding, strategic thinking, and meaningful mathematical discussion.

Who This Is For:
• New Jersey students entering 6th or 7th grade
• Students scheduled to take Pre-Algebra in the fall
• Students who want to feel confident on day one
• Motivated learners ready to strengthen their foundational skills

Program Information:
• Dates: July 13th – August 6th, 2026
• Days: Monday–Thursday
• Format: Live virtual instruction

Two Sessions Available:
• Session 1: 8:30 AM – 10:15 AM
• Session 2: 10:30 AM – 12:15 PM

Each session is limited to 20 students to maintain an intentional, focused learning environment.

What Students Will Master:
Instruction emphasizes conceptual understanding and strategic problem-solving in:

• Integer operations
• Fractions & rational numbers
• Expressions & order of operations
• One- and two-step equations
• Ratios, proportions & percents
• Multi-step problem solving
• Introductory algebraic reasoning

Growth Measurement:
Students will complete a diagnostic pre-assessment and a final post-assessment to measure progress over the four weeks. There are no grades and no homework assignments. The focus is mastery and confidence, not pressure.

If a student misses a session:
• There are no make-up sessions
• Students are not penalized
• All digital materials remain accessible through Google Classroom

 

Enrollment & Tuition Policies:
• Enrollment is first-come, first-served
• Each session is capped at 20 students
• Payment is due in full at time of booking
• Tuition is non-refundable - Refunds will not be issued for missed sessions or schedule conflicts.
